Everything you ever need to learn about public speaking you will find in this speech. Every speech should have: Strong opening Body- 3to4 main points. The close; his close uses his title; that is perfection in public speaking! The main take away of the speech is: I see something in you, but I don't know what it is? Florida: yes it was hot as H….., we had been running around, so I sat down under this tree for some shade, I fell asleep. Then it was thunder; my head exploded I thought the world was ending, I could not see, I stood arms outstretched I wandered not knowing? Then I heard a voice like “ what’s up doc?’ no, it wasn't Buggs Bunny, but it sounded like it! The voice said what's that on your head, what? OMG as I put my hand to feel something as big as a coconut coming out of my head, are you kidding I said? So here I am on vacation, 14 years old having to explain to everyone my coconut head story? John A few years back In a Toastmaster International Speech contest my speech was based on this story, then a 5-7 minute speech. This day Jan. 15, John was called to appear before the town council, in the Town of Nowhere. That morning John was slightly unstable as he stood before the Council.  The Mayor said, John, you were invited here for this special award (  John was overwhelmed he had never received an award) John we the town of Nowhere would like to thank you for the laughs, and free meals, and overnight stays, and memories.  We present you with this beautiful plaque. John shook hands with the Council, then the Mayor; as John turned to leave the Mayor stood and as John turned, he said t with his finger raised in the air, this will be your last night in the town of Nowhere.  If you haven't realized by now, John was the town drunk. Then he headed out to his favorite tavern for the party in his honor. John drank beer after beer, no one had ever bought him
